On February 1, 2025, U.S. President Trump announced a 10% tariff on all goods from China under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). This executive order applies to all goods entering the United States after 12:01 AM EST on February 4, 2025.
Based on the interpretation of this order, the impact on our parcel shipments is as follows:
For orders departing after 12:00 PM (Beijing Time) on February 4, 2025:
All goods shipped from China to the U.S. will no longer qualify for the De Minimis tax exemption for items valued under $800.
The T86 clearance model will no longer be applicable.
For orders departing after 12:00 PM (Beijing Time) on February 4, 2025:
A 10% additional tariff will be imposed on all goods from China, on top of existing tariff rates.
The final tariff rate for different products may range from 10% to 60% or higher.
This means your dropshipping costs may increase by $1–$2 or more. Please adjust your selling prices for the U.S. market accordingly.
