According to Mexico's latest T1 import clearance regulations, starting from January 1, 2025, customs declaration documents will require the recipient's RFC (Federal Taxpayer Registration Number) or CURP (Unique Population Registry Code).
Compliance requirements are as follows:
Mexican citizens aged 18 and above: Must provide the RFC (Federal Taxpayer Registration Number).
Mexican citizens under the age of 18: Must provide the CURP (Unique Population Registry Code).
Foreign residents in Mexico: Must provide the CURP (Unique Population Registry Code).
Reference formats are as follows:
RFC: 13 characters (format: 4 letters + 6 digits + 3 letters/numbers).
CURP: 18 characters (format: 4 letters + 6 digits + 8 letters/numbers).
To avoid delays and penalties during import processes in the destination country next year, BSDropshipping hereby notifies all dropshippers to ensure that RFC or CURP is prepared before the implementation of the new regulations. Thank you for your cooperation.
